My name is Elli Hiilamo and I am from Helsinki, Finland. I am seventeen years old and an exchange student during this school year. I am staying with Millie and Jimmy Price. I am a junior at Toombs County High School and I play on the schools varsity volleyball and soccer teams. I also like to play the piano and read books.
In Finland, I have four brothers. (one older and three younger). The oldest one has been an exchange student also in Illinois. My mother is a Lutheran minister and my father is a director of academics at a university in Helsinki.
I wanted to come here to the United States because I wanted to learn English and have new experiences. I also wanted to meet new people and see new places. I love traveling. I love to eat Tex Mex, Chinese, and Italian foods. |
