Big Country scores first collegiate points

Jared Collins has been waiting for over a year to score his first points as a Georgia Southern Eagle and on December 20, in his second collegiate game, Big Country hit two 3-pointers in a span of a minute and 56 seconds as the Eagles pounded NAIA Division II Asbury 82-51. Big Country and Red sing on Y-101

Big Country (pictured right) and Red Walker spent an hour on the Y-101 Morning Show singing some excellent old country songs. The two along with the Big Country Band put on a concert in Vidalia. Jared Collins has been a solo act for years, entertaining a various locations around the area and now he has formed his Big Country Band which plays old country standards and some new music too. Jared Collins and his sister Kayla appeared on the Midday Memory Show on Y-101.
