Bulldog Flashback- Thez Robinson

In 1999 and 2000 Thez Robinson was racking up some large rushing numbers for the Toombs County Bulldogs and he was doing it by breaking off some incredible runs against defenses that were geared to stopping him. In '99 Thez ran for 1,400 yards and in his senior season he accumulated 1,800. Benny Dees used to say, "If he's even he's leavin'."

Robinson signed with South Carolina, played briefly at Southeast Louisiana and then wound up his college career in 2007 by breaking two school records at Northwestern Oklahoma State. Thez scored five touchdowns in one game and ran for 274 yards in another and he came up just two yards short of breaking Patrick Crayton's school record of 1426 rushing yards in a season.
